Reduced PSS Levels

Several shipping lines have implemented further reductions in sea freight rates from the Far East for the second half of March, allowing us to reduce our Peak Season Surcharge (PSS) starting from ETD March 15. We will continue to keep you informed of any changes and updates.

Reduced PSS Levels:

• USD 35 per w/m for LCL and USD 950 per 20’ and USD 1350 per 40’ for FCL.

Our top priority is always to ensure fast and efficient transportation of your cargo as soon as it is ready for loading. However, in some cases, it may be necessary to consider alternative solutions outside of standard shipping terms, which could affect overall costs.

ICS2

ICS2 (Import Control System 2) is a system implemented by the EU to enhance security in the import of goods. It is part of the EU’s customs framework and aims to collect security and customs information about shipments before they arrive at the EU’s external borders. ICS2 requires importers and carriers to submit detailed data on goods before they enter the EU, Norway, Switzerland, and Northern Ireland. This system is used to conduct risk-based assessments and controls on incoming goods to prevent illegal trade, ensure regulatory compliance, and improve security.

The objectives of ICS2 are to:

• Enhance security by gathering detailed information on goods before they arrive.
• Support risk-based controls to identify potentially hazardous or illegal goods before they reach the market.
• Facilitate smooth and efficient trade by ensuring fast and secure customs processing without obstructing legitimate trade.

If we incur costs related to this process from any party in the supply chain, we reserve the right to pass these costs on to our customers.
