Updated PSS Levels
Several shipping lines will be reducing their freight rates starting from ETD January 15. This allows us to lower our Peak Season Surcharge (PSS) for sea freight from the Far East, effective from the same date. We will keep you updated on any further changes going forward.
Updated PSS Levels:
- Sea: USD 60 per w/m for LCL, USD 1700 per 20’, and USD 2750 per 40’ for FCL.
- Rail: USD 120 per w/m for LCL and USD 3500 per 40HC for FCL (effective from ETD October 1).
Our priority is always to ensure that your cargo is shipped as quickly as possible when it is ready for transport. However, in certain situations, it may be necessary to consider alternative solutions outside of standard shipping terms, which could affect the cost.
Strike Threat Called Off on the US East and Gulf Coasts
On January 8, 2025, the International Longshoremen’s Association (ILA) and United States Maritime Alliance, Ltd (USMX) announced that they have reached a preliminary agreement on a new six-year contract. This agreement prevents the potential work stoppage previously anticipated on January 15, 2025. Both parties have agreed to continue operations under the current agreement until the new contract is ratified.
Chinese New Year – Ensure Early Bookings

If you have not already done so, we recommend making your bookings as early as possible to avoid capacity shortages and delays during this busy period.
Do not hesitate to reach out to us if you have any questions or concerns – we are here to assist you!
Thank you for your continued support!
