Obalansen i utbud och efterfrågan fortsätter och vi ser även att den kommande perioden innebär höjningar från rederierna. Vi behöver därför justera vår PSS (Peak Season Surcharge) för sjötransporter från Fjärran Östern från och med ETD 15 juli enligt nedan:
- PSS sjö: USD200w/m för LCL och USD5650/20’ respektive USD9200/40’ för FCL.
- PSS tåg: USD125w/m för LCL och USD5000/40HC’ för FCL (samma som föregående period).
Tillsammans med våra kontor i Asien jobbar vi för högtryck med att hitta så bra lösningar som möjligt för er last. Vårt primära fokus att få hem er last i samband med att godset är klart att skeppas. Detta kan innebära att vi behöver gå utanför prisramarna från offererad sjöfrakt + PSS till en ytterligare förhöjd kostnadsbild.
Vi håller er uppdaterade om läget och ni är som vanligt alltid varmt välkomna att höra av er till oss med tankar och funderingar, så hittar vi fram till så bra lösningar som möjligt tillsammans.
Se nedan information som vi har fått från en av våra leverantörer på den italienska marknaden, vi ber att få återkomma med eventuella extrakostnader detta medför:
Regarding our collaboration with Italy we unfortunately need to inform you about upcoming construction works on one of our main train corridors in Germany (Rhine Valley) in August and early September. These works will significantly impact the routing of trailers and trains to/from Italy. During this period, we will route all trailers via the Austrian Brenner Corridor (Rostock – Verona v.v.). We will not be able to use the corridor through Switzerland (Lübeck – Novara/Segrate v.v.).
Even though we have organized additional capacity there may still be pressure on capacity. Additionally, we will have to cope with:
+ Higher trucking costs to and from the Verona railway terminals
+ Longer lead times and equipment costs
+ Terminal storage fees for trailers waiting for departure
+ Railway capacity on the spot market
All these factors will result in surcharges, which will be applicable for bookings to/from Italy from August, 1st to September, 6th:
+ Loading/Delivery in ZIP Codes IT-10 to 29 (normally sent via the Switzerland Corridor) + Loading/Delivery in ZIP Codes IT-30 and higher (normally sent via the Brenner Corridor)
The renovation of the Rhine Valley railway is crucial for improving the performance and safety of the line and meeting the increasing demands of modern rail transport. These measures are being taken to modernize the infrastructure and enhance the efficiency of train services in the future.
